Most children in El Paso have never seen a natural trickle of water. Let that sink in for a moment. Not everyone gets to go to the lake...or the ocean...or the river. Honestly, if you don't connect with water's serene beauty, it is kind of hard to think of it as something you want to protect and conserve. We protect what we love. So we tasked ourselves with the job of helping kids fall in love with water.
THE WATERFALL
Small toy boats (available in the gift shop) can be dropped into the puddling pool of water at the base of the waterfall and followed along the stream as it winds its way back and forth under the walkway where it stops at the end to be retrieved.
From the Water Garden we head to a very special garden, The Stand, home of the Wall of Hopes and Dreams.
